Beavers is doing well in the hands of the lovely Fran but we just need
another leader in charge...you will not be alone! We are running beavers
with a one main leader as a temporary arrangement only. We are looking
for a couple of like minded individuals who will help out this great
section of our group. NO experience is necessary as full training is
available.

January 2007 - Aviation badge

After
our great success making paper planes before Christmas we are
carrying on trying to earn our aviation skills badges. This week
we are going to hear all about flying. Don't forget your £1
for a 2007 badge. As a surprise some of our beavers get their
first year joining in badges!!

After
most of our beavers got thier aviation badge last week we have
some more aviation activities tonight.

29th
January 2007 - swimming
Meet
at the scout hut at normal time (6pm). Please can we have help with
transport from parents. We are swimming at Cranbrook to return before
7:30pm. Cost of swim £2.20 per person.
Centenary
badges
This year there are lots of extra badges to earn for the 2007 centenary.
Why not bring a friend and if they join you get the bring a friend award.
The 100 challenge is running for cubs and scouts, and when you camp
this year you will get the centenary camp badge. Don't forget a £1
for the 2007 uniform badge.
