It's all over?

So how difficult is it to put together an award winning pantomime. Well taking advice from Boards veteran Gerald Luck you need a script, a location, a cast, a director, sound, light, music and lots of time.

Well done to all the beavers, cubs and scouts plus those behind the scenes that made it all work under the most difficult of circumstances.

There are not too many pics of this one so you have to find your own..or were you there?

Thanks to illness, venue changes and times it was a wonder that we pulled this one off at all. The last performance played to over 100 people at Uplands Community college although the hall was set out for 600 making it look like nobody was there at all. Merlin Beedell stole the show as Abu Hasan. It would not be fair to single out others for praise as they all did so well and we are proud of them in spite of the chaos and mayhem that we were greeted with when we arrived.

Would we do it again. That's a question I may ask in 6 months!!

For our community service we will be taking a simpler routine around the block

Characters depicted in this pantomime are not based upon any real people and any similarity between them and people that we don't like is purely coincidental but thank you for providing such good ideas; you know who you are! No animals were harmed in this production; watch out for that elephant. Dung soup used by permission of Aimless Hareem from his book "Arabian fast food
