on Rob:
The explorers need somebody who can be firm as well as fun. Does that mean that Rob is the straight man of the group. I think not. One of my early encounters with Rob was at Devils Dyke where we were kiting. Rob though that I deliberately tried to jump off the dyke and pointed out that I was not doing it the best way with the kite head to wind.
I have been really impressed how Rob has rolled up his sleeves and is running at the challenge of scouting.
Like Simon the explorers are lucky to have Rob as their leader.
