Rosie with a cuppa on the survival camp

Focus on Annie Trinder

"She shows you " Charlie

Tony on Annie:

All Annie wanted to do was get her powerboat ticket! "Of course" says I, "do it through the Kent scouts weekends at Bewl". "How does that work" she asks. "Well, just join explorers and then you can pick up the ticket through he great training weekends that they run as a member".

Months pass and Avery explorers gets going with Rob and Simon at the helm. Finally Annie joins - but wait she is too old! Aha - a leader, a female leader, gold dust. Not only a female leader but an outdoor pursuits specialist leader with all kinds of watersports experience and achievement. Hang on to this one lads and help her develop her skills so that she can pass them on to our young people.

Annie is young and is developing confidence. We have a great responsibility to help her succeed.
