Our scouts, leaders and committee have been involved with our efforts to raise money. We even get some rave reviews for our help.

Without fundraising our group would simply disappear since we are all volunteers and get no funds from either local or national government.

Some groups are lucky enough to be sponsored by businesses or other large organizations but we are not one of those.

We raise money to keep scouting in the Ticehurst Flimwell and Stonegate area to the benefit of the Local youth. Arguably the future of our district.

People often say whatever hapened to bob a job. Well in the 50's and 60's that was the way that we helped ourselves. We could not send our cubs and scouts out knocking on doors anymore as the world has changed enormously from that of Enid Blyton. So support our fundraising as it never ceass to be important.

If you really wish to make a difference then you could nominate us through gift aid. Ticehurst Scout group is a registered charity.

Some of the fundraising that we do is not for ourselves but for other good causes like the WWF gimmi 5 challenge and recently the overseas Tsunami appeal where we made pancake and cakes for sale. October is the eye patch disability appeal.
