Steve on his bike at Stonegate fair

The Executive committee is every bit as important as the scouts and their leaders in our group. Without their efforts we simply would not run. The committee is responsible for fundraising for the group and making sure that our statutory obligations as a charity are met.

Not only can you get invoolved by fundraising. If you have instructor skills of ANY kind then let us know. Our young people have an appetite for making and breaking things. Scouting is not a school subject and we introduce things like making stink bombs and cakes alike. SO if you are a juggler a magician or play drums then let us know and we will get you to help us inspire our beavers, cubs or scouts.

If you are interesting in helping young people in our area but do not have the time to become leaders then perhaps you would consider helping out on the committee. Duties are light and usually involve some socializing, fundraising and a few meetings.
