Who can join?
Almost anyone* between the ages of 8 and 10 years old can join cubs. We
welcome boys and girls alike.
* Subject to availability of special needs requirements where required.

Do
I have to live in Ticehurst to Join?
We take cubs from the parish area including Flimwell, Stonegate, Ticehurst
and Wallcrouch.
Can
I just come and see what its like at cubs?
We hope that anyone can have fun at cubs but we always start new people
with a three week taster. that's to say you can try coming to cubs for
three weeks.
Where
do cubs meet?
We meet at the scout hut, Pickforde Lane most Thursdays at 6.00pm. Click

What
if I don't like it?
If you don't like it then we can wave goodbye but we hope that this won't
be the case since there are always fun things to do and places to go.
Do
I get to wear a uniform with cool badges
You get your badges and scarf from us when you are invested.
But you don't get to be invested until we are sure that you want to join
cubs.
What
does uniform cost?
The uniform that you have to buy consists of a cub jersey and a cap. This
should cost no more than £15. There are lots of other bits and pieces
that you can buy but they are not essential.

How much does it cost to join cubs?
There is no joining fee for cubs and our termly subs are only £25.00
per term. You have to pay for your uniform and any costs of camps or outings.
We are a non-profit charity and so all money that is collected is spent
on the scout group.
How
safe are my children at cubs?
All leaders for the scout organization are police checked and monitored.
We are very aware of modern day child protection issues and have procedures
in place specifically for the protection of your children. If you have
any concerns simply contact our leaders for
more information.
Can
parents get involved?
Absolutely, we encourage parents to get involved with every aspect of
cubs. If you have any spare time or skills that you may think that the
cubs would like to turn into an activity then please let us know.
